THE CAST OF C.L.U.E.

(Center for Locating Undiscovered Evidence)

Mr. Green

Once a streetwise con artist, now one of the wealthiest men in the world, thanks to his diamond mines in Africa. A master of disguise, Mr. Green sharpened his skills out of necessity. After a failed scam, he landed in the hull of a ship to Africa where he met Col. Mustard on safari, and the two struck a lifelong bond.
C.L.U.E. Founder
Hobbies: Automotive innovation, speed tuning, and expert makeup artistry.

Col. Mustard

Strategist. Soldier. Survivor. Col. Mustard faked his way into the British Army as a teen and fought in the Second Anglo-Afghan War by age 15. There, he met Dr. Watson, who would connect him to the future minds of C.L.U.E.
C.L.U.E. Member | Father of Lillian Mustard
Hobbies: Hunting rare game and relic hunting with Prof. Plum.

Prof. Plum

Brilliant scientist and cutting-edge inventor. A pioneer in forensic science alongside Bernard Spilsbury, Plum opened a state-of-the-art lab in Upstate New York with funding from Mr. Green. He’s the brain behind many of the group’s tech tools — and the occasional malfunctioning robot.
C.L.U.E. Member
Hobbies: Tinkering with electronics and globe-trotting for artifacts.

Mrs. Peacock

The feminine force of deduction. As a former “Baker Street Irregular,” she honed her detective mind under Sherlock Holmes himself. After tragedy struck—her husband, Henry Peacock, murdered by the Candlestick Stalker—she joined forces with Miss Scarlett and helped form C.L.U.E.
C.L.U.E. Member | Mother of Penelope Peacock
Hobbies: Logic puzzles, playing the flute, and cracking codes.

Miss Scarlett

Named by Holmes himself after his “study in scarlet,” she never spoke a word but always had something to say. Bullied in childhood, she discovered her uncle was a Japanese spy and a master of ninjitsu. Under his training, she transformed into a quiet force to be reckoned with.
C.L.U.E. Member
Hobbies: Martial arts and silent observation.

Miss White

Loyal maid to Mr. Green, but more brilliant than most barristers. A legal mind in a starched apron, she co-wrote industrial laws in 1890 and served on the board of the National Association of Women Lawyers. The girls trust her implicitly.
C.L.U.E. Member
Hobbies: Reading case files and baking comfort food.

Supporting Cast

Sergeant Grey

Well-meaning, often bumbling officer of the law. Frequently needs help from C.L.U.E. to piece together crimes — though he’s entirely unaware how much he relies on them.
Hobbies: Sports. Loves Miss White’s biscuits.
Father of Thomas Grey

Miss Peach

A high-society woman with big dreams and bigger clumsiness. Fiercely passionate about women’s rights and determined to earn a spot in C.L.U.E.—even if her every effort seems to go hilariously wrong.
Secret Crush: Sergeant Grey
Hobbies: (To be determined. Currently: trying not to trip.)

Thomas Grey

The sergeant’s son with a curious ear and an even curiouser crush on Lillian and Penelope. Constantly “overhears” police chatter and “accidentally” passes it along.
Hobbies: Playing the violin and trying to impress the girls.

Shortfuze

An ambitious attempt at artificial intelligence — emphasis on attempt. Created by Prof. Plum to keep the girls safe, this steam-powered robot has a short circuit and a shorter attention span.
Status: Frequently malfunctioning. Occasionally helpful.

MUSTARD MYSTERIES
EPISODE 1: "HANG IT UP"

FADE IN:

INT. MUSTARD MANOR – STUDY – DAY

A fire crackles in a grand stone hearth. Dust motes shimmer in golden sunlight. Books line the walls.
COLONEL MUSTARD stands near the mantel, brandy in hand, mustache impeccably waxed.

COLONEL MUSTARD
(smirking)
Moving pictures are getting rather good, don’t you think, Plum?

Across the room, PROFESSOR PLUM, spectacles perched low, fiddles with a bulky camera contraption.

PROFESSOR PLUM
Astounding, really. If I can just make this blasted thing smaller, we might capture something truly... secretive.

DING-DONG. The front bell chimes.

COLONEL MUSTARD
Mrs. White! Could you get that, please?

INT. MANOR – FRONT HALLWAY – CONTINUOUS

MRS. WHITE, armed with a feather duster and no patience, opens the heavy front door.

MRS. WHITE
Oh. Mr. Green.

MR. GREEN fumbles through his coat, disheveled and distracted.

MR. GREEN
Misplaced my keys again, I’m afraid.

MRS. WHITE
Again, sir?

She lets him in.

INT. STUDY – MOMENTS LATER

COLONEL MUSTARD
Let me guess—forgot his keys.

PROFESSOR PLUM
(grumbling)
Or his mind.

Mr. Green strolls in, tea-bound.

MR. GREEN
Gentlemen.

Before more is said, two girls burst in—PENELOPE and LILLIAN—full of energy, curiosity, and mischief.

PENELOPE
Professor! Did you fix the camera?

PROFESSOR PLUM
Not yet. Needs... miniaturizing.

MR. GREEN
(interrupting)
A man’s been found hanged. James Street. Hotel Brown. Might not be what it seems.

The room stiffens.

COLONEL MUSTARD
Not a suicide?

MR. GREEN
All signs point that way. Lost job. Note on the desk.

LILLIAN
But you don’t think it was suicide.

A VOICE FROM THE DOORWAY.

MRS. PEACOCK
How exactly did he do it?

She steps in, elegant and piercing.

MR. GREEN
Noose. Beam. Chair. Classic setup.

MRS. PEACOCK
Just like the fellow from last week.

LILLIAN
A pattern! We may have a serial killer on our hands!

MR. GREEN
Don’t get ahead of yourselves. Sergeant Grey says the case is closed.

COLONEL MUSTARD
And when has that ever stopped us?

MRS. PEACOCK
The answer will be in the rope. Fibers don’t lie.

She circles the camera.

MRS. PEACOCK (CONT'D)
New invention, Plum?

PROFESSOR PLUM
Motion camera. Could help in our... discreet endeavors.

COLONEL MUSTARD
Let me dismantle it, old boy.

PROFESSOR PLUM
Touch it and die, Mustard.

MRS. WHITE enters with tea. MR. GREEN takes it gratefully.

MRS. PEACOCK
Green, we need both ropes. And both notes.

MR. GREEN
Grey won’t like that. Closed case, remember?

MRS. PEACOCK
Then take Plum and me to the hotel. We’ll find our own answers.

PROFESSOR PLUM
Me? I have vital work!

MRS. PEACOCK
Playtime, Professor. Bring your kit.

COLONEL MUSTARD
Fine. I’ll tinker with the camera.

PROFESSOR PLUM
Don’t you dare.

MRS. PEACOCK
Names, Mr. Green?

MR. GREEN
One moment...

He digs in every pocket. Finally:

MR. GREEN
Robert Wilkens. John Heckman.

MRS. PEACOCK
Girls. Find their connection.

MR. GREEN
Oh no. No more unsupervised “investigations.”

MRS. PEACOCK
You're right.
(beat)
Get going, girls.

PENELOPE & LILLIAN
(together)
Yes, ma’am!

They run off.

COLONEL MUSTARD
Careful, you two.

LILLIAN
Always, Father.

EXT. MANOR GROUNDS – DAY

Penelope and Lillian disappear down the path, heads full of theories and secrets.

PENELOPE
Let’s find those ropes.

LILLIAN
I know just who to visit first...

FADE OUT.

TO BE CONTINUED...
